Excellent colour and structure, a classic Vintage Port for long ageing. Wonderful honeyed character.

Description

Amongst the driest winters since records began. Fortunately rain fell during May and June. August was quite a lot cooler than normal, however there was some welcomed rain just before the harvest which started on the 14th Sept. The 1992 wines are of a very good quality and only 33 pipes (2,000 cases) were selected from the total production of 182 pipes to be bottled at the Quinta.

"This Vintage is beginning to show some of the wonderful characteristics of bottle matured wine. It can be drunk now but will repay a few more years in your cellar. Needs time."
