"If you have odd bottles of this Single Quinta wine in your cellar, you may find that there can be a slight variation between each bottle depending largely on where they have been stored. This wine is unlikely to benefit from further ageing."

“Sweet, seductive, winning bouquet. Delicate and yet very persistent. Elegant and yet so firm and emphatic at the end. Roses and raisins. Gummy, leather finish. Perfectly balanced”.
“Lighter than the ´45, but still healthy. Aged sherry aromas laced with brown sugar and caramel. Viscous on the palate with an amplitude of caramelized flavors and peppery acids snapping to attention in the finish. The 1948 was undeclared by Dow’s, but has been justly compared to 1945…. a truly memorable wine.”
