Dow was amongst one of a selection of shippers to declare in 1947 and very few bottles remain for comment.
Our Expert's Recommendation
"If you have odd bottles of this wine in your cellar, you may find that there can be a slight variation between each bottle depending largely on where they have been stored. This wine is unlikely to benefit from further ageing. These bottles have become very difficult to get hold of."
