"If you have odd bottles of this wine in your cellar, you may find that there can be a slight variation between each bottle depending largely on where they have been stored. This wine is unlikely to benefit from further ageing. This wine is fully mature and ready for drinking but care should be taken when decanting and I suggest you don't leave it in the decanter for too long before drinking."

“…pleasant colour, warm glow, curiously rich, malty nose; fairly sweet still, assertive, flavour combining meat and fruit."
“Lovely “smoky” nose. Smoke and roses. Fading flowers. Very gummy fruit on the palate. Full alcohol. Soft roses. Easy and at its apogee. Lacy, long finish”.
“But perhaps one of the biggest surprises was the excellence of the 1934. This wine still had good colour, lots of fruit on the nose and palate and clearly several more years ahead of it”.
