Dow's 1904

Vintage Port

 

Description

Very few bottles available to comment although Dow 1904 is likely to be fairly pale and tawny like, with fine and delicate flavours. 

Our Expert's Recommendation

"On account of the tremendous age of this wine, the occasion that you decide to pull the cork will always be momentous. It is difficult to comment further, except for the fact that Port is very resilient and can spring the odd surprise, even at this age. I would however suggest that you have a younger vintage on hand - just in case!"
