Graham's 1935

Vintage Port

This Graham's shows incredible richness - a tremendous example of Old Vintage Port.

Description

A split Vintage which has now become very difficult to find. The fruit and tannins are very well integrated and the colour is holding up better than some of the Vintages made in the 1960's.

Our Expert's Recommendation

"If you have odd bottles of this wine in your cellar, you may find that there can be a slight variation between each bottle depending largely on where they have been stored. This wine is unlikely to benefit from further ageing. This wine had a wonderful intense black chocolate style nose at last tasting."

Press Comments

“Violets. Quite forceful and defined. Inky and mineral too. Incredible sweetness on the palate. Richness. Like paddling in syrup. Honied, with a backbone of real power”.
Serena Sutcliffe , A Century of Vintage Port, Volume 8 – Sotheby’s
01/11/2002

“The star of the vintage is Graham, which has amazingly fresh cherry flavours and a superb backbone of ripe tannins."
James Suckling , Vintage Port
01/01/1990
