Q:
Hi, we have a bottle of Graham's 1963 Vintage Port, the label says it was bottled in 1965. Would this hold any value?
A:
Hello Cathy. Vintage Port is properly bottled in the second year after harvest, so this 1963 "Bottled in 1965" is correct. 1963 was one of the great vintages of the 20th century, and the Graham's has always been particularly well regarded as you can see from the critics' notes in our Knowledge base. If the bottle has been well cellared, you are in for a treat, and we recommend you gather friends and family to enjoy this with you. You may want to consult our suggestions about Decanting and Serving Vintage Port. If you do not care to drink it yourself, it would be an amazing gift for a Port-loving friend.
