I have inherited an unopened wooden box (24 bottles) of Warres 1977 Vintage port.  I am interested to find out more about it - is it ready to drink? is it valuable? is it better sold in its current unopened state or as individual bottles; anything else I should know!

Dow's 1977

Question by: Mitchell, Los Angeles, CA, USA

I have purchased several bottles of 1977 Dow's at auction. Each has a different label (with different US importers) and one has an embossed bottle with "1977".  Are the different labels and bottles common, or should I worry about having a counterfeit or two in the mix?
