I have a bottle of Chateau Tahbilk Port 1975 I think it just says 75 in the corner so I think it's 1975.  My dad gave it to me for my 21st birthday, it has never been opened and is still all looked after.

Hi Scotty, Just as sparkling wine made outside of Champagne, France, is not strictly "Champagne" so fortified wines made outside of the Douro region of Portugal are not strictly "Ports."   As makers of true Port here in Portugal, and not active in the secondary market for Port or any other wines, Symington Family Estates are not well placed to help you on this query.

We would suggest you contact a specialist wine merchant in your area who could advise you on the secondary market for these wines, or one of the auction houses which routinely handle wine, such as Bonham's, Christie's or Sotheby's, all of which have contacts in Australia.  The Tahbilk website has some information about pricing on their older wines, but we do not see any Port-style fortified wines listed - still it may be worth while to contact them directly too.  Be aware that as a general rule only top vintages from top producers are sought in the secondary market, and it will have to be clear to any broker or potential buyer that the wine has been well stored and likely to be in good condition.
