Cockburn's Aguardente

I have a bottle of Cockburn`s Aguardente Reserva Lote Especial.  Can you tell my what this is?

Hi Jochen, Aguardente is the Portuguese brandy distilled from fermented grape must.  Most people are familiar with aguardente as the neutral spirit used to fortify Port wines, but when made from high quality must and aged in wooden casks it can be enjoyed the same as any fine brandy.  Cockburn's used to make three qualities of aguardente:  5 Galos, Reserva and Velha (Old).  Your bottle of Reserva Lote Especial was a very special limited edition that was even finer than the top qualilty Velha, and was produced some time prior to 1979, though we do not have an exact date.
