The 2007 Cockburn Quinta dos Canais is purple/black in color with an expressive bouquet of violets, licorice, blackberry, and black currant.  On the palate it is medium weight with decent volume and concentration.  It has enough fine-grained tannin to evolve for at least a decade and should offer prime drinking from 2022 to 2037.

Score: 91/100
