Still quite demure on the nose, just a hint of violets. Much more expressive on the palate: fine linear fruit, well-knit with lovely purity showing through, backed by firm tannins. Not big but charming.

Score: 17/20

Paler and showing more maturity on the rim, starting to brown.  Closed; not showing very well on the nose; perhaps still to emerge from its adolescence; just a hint of violets.  Much more expressive on the palate, the fine linear fruit well knit, with lovely blueberry-fruit purity showing through on the mid-palate and firm tannins.  Not big but charming.  Drink to 2020.

Score: 15.5/20
