Tasting Notes

Very good, lovely on nose, a power house of fruit. Rich, peppery and sweet. Outstanding.

Score: Silver Medal

International Wine Challenge (competition) source
2005 tasting note year

The nose is restrained blend of raisins, ripe blackberries, spice and earth. The palate has a fine, full, mouth coating texture, its sun-warmed blueberry and prune flesh supported by firm tannins. Lively acidity and notes of toast parade across the lengthy finish.

Score: Gold Medal
