View the details and tasting notes for these other wines also declared or bottled from the year 1994:

It was immediately evident during the vintage that the wines would be very intense and fruity. This has been borne out by their development and Graham's 1994 Vintage is rich, deep coloured and packed with fruit. It is distinctly reminiscent of the Graham's 1970.
Primarily from Quinta dos Malvedos and Quinta dos Lages.
Alcohol by volume v/v (20º C): 20%
Total Acidity g/l tartaric acid: 4,80
Baumé: 3,4
Vinous, extremely balanced and offering scents of red licorice and raspberry fruit with a mocha note. The 1994 offers focused and concentrated fruit that stands out in a crowd. The acidity and ripe, round tannins deliver deft balance. This is going to reward patience and although easy to sip now, Graham’s ’94 will evolve at a high level for another 5 decades and should be permitted to improve in bottle. It’s a remarkable, classic Vintage Port. Score: 95+/100
Very deep, youthful colour, purple rim; fine, rich opulent aromas; very full and charming, broad ripe tannins evident beneath the fruit, overall powerful and opulent with solid structure and full grip with the puppy fat still evident on the finish. Lovely now but better in 5 years plus. Score: 18.5/20
Good colour. Very impressive on the nose. Very rich and concentrated, very intense fruit. Lovely bitter chocolate and black cherry undertones. A fullish, quietly successful wine. Beautiful fruit and lovely balance. Subtle and long and intense at the end. But all nicely restrained. Very fine. Score: 18.5/20
In a port tasting, tasting Graham's is almost like tasting a big, rich, succulent Merlot after a group of blockbuster, tannic Cabernets. Sweeter and more obvious than many ports, the opaque purple-colored 1994 is fruity, powerful, and rich, with an addictive hedonistic quality. It will be ready to drink in 8-10 years and keep for up to 30. As always, this is a showy, flamboyant port that has the advantage of being slightly sweeter than other 1994s. A great Graham's. Anticipated maturity: 2002-2035. Score: 96/100
Classic. One of the greatest Graham Vintage Ports ever. A monster of a wine. Incredibly intense aromas of cassis bush and ripe fruit, full-bodied and super tannic. It's got what it takes. Score: 95/100
