Deep ruby red colour. Aromas of mature jammy fruit, with hints of raisins and spices. Richly concentrated palate packed with black fruit flavours, excellent grip and tannins, with a long seductive finish. Drinking superbly now

Fullish colour. Discreet nose. Nicely balanced. Medium-full body. Fresh, balanced, cool, succulent wine with good elegance. This is stylish. Lots of personality. Very well made.

Score: 17.5/20

Impressively rich and concentrated aromas of currants and fruit, with hints of earth. Big and thick on the palate, showing masses of fruit and tannin

Typically sweet, plump, fleshy, and fat, the opaque purple-colored 1992 Malvedos Vintage Port reveals copious aromas of flowers, licorice, and black fruits, gorgeously-seductive, voluptuously textured flavors, light tannin, and a long, alcoholic finish.  It should drink well in 2-3 years and last for up to 20.

This delivers a lengthy beam of warm and inviting creamed raspberry, boysenberry and a├žai berry fruit flavors, flecked with anise, fruitcake and milk chocolate notes. Has some spirited punch on the back and will need time to settle in, but there's fruit to burn here.

Score: 94
