Graham's Quinta dos Malvedos 1986

Tasting Notes

Richard Mayson critic source
2010 tasting note year

Very deep, youthful colour, still black and darker than the 1985; not a great deal coming off the nose but very sweet, opulent and youthful on the palate, still a young strapping wine with good grip and peppery tannic length.

Score: 4 Stars

Michael Broadbent MW critic

Vintage Wine (book, Broadbent, 2002) source
1998 tasting note year

Opaque, sweet, rich, full in 1992.  Still opaque, good fruit, a bit peppery.

James Suckling critic

Vintage Port (book, Suckling, 1990) source
1990 tasting note year

Very well structured, showing attractive, balanced, firm tannins and pleasant fruit flavours.  Deep ruby, ripe blackberry aromas, full-bodied, with medium tannins and excellent sweet berry flavours.
