Another good, deep coloured wine, lovely aromas, tea leaf (again), very similar in style to the 1982, ripe, fresh, not quite as hefty, lovely succulent fruit with a very sweet succulent finish, still very fresh and elegant.

Score: 3/4 Stars

Plummy but maturing. Very attractive classic port nose. Very sweet, good flavour and reasonable length. Frangrant aftertaste. I liked it.

Rather one-dimensional, but it is packed to the brim with fruit.  Deep purple, with cassis, tomato and berry aromas, full-bodied, with tough tannins and an abundance of sweet cassis flavours.
