Seven notes. Delicious. Good colour, very attractive nose, slightly raisiny, touch of liquorice. Fairly sweet, medium weight, soft, fleshy.   Rated 3 stars, likely 4 after further ageing.

Score: 4 Stars

James Suckling critic

1990 tasting note year

A difficult wine to assess.  It seems closed and not ready but there is also a dryness on the finish.  Medium ruby-purple, very perfumed berry nose, medium-bodied, with sweet, simple berry flavours, medium tannins and a short finish.
