See details of the wines declared or bottled from the year 1894:

1894 Vintage

Well developed wines, though not as fine as the 1890s. Some wines were shipped.

Viticultural and Weather Conditions

In June the grapes had just set and the vines were looking well, though extreme heat destroyed the olive crop. Good weather in July and a hot August, but rain was much wanted.

Fortunately, wet weather arrived on 21st September and thereafter the weather was favourable for the vintage in October. In November, the weather was magnificent and cold.
