“The 2005 Clos Galena is 40% Garnacha Negra, 20% Carinena, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, and 10% Syrah also aged for 12 months in French and American oak. Inky purple, it offers a similar aromatic profile but is a larger-scaled wine bordering on opulent. Rich and layered with plenty of underlying structure, this hedonistic effort will evolve for 5-7 years. The quality of this Priorat, the price is superb, as it was actually dubbed a “baby Erasmus”
